                Based on the Narrative and Documentary, Fredrick Douglass was a slave who got taught how to read and write by his white owners spouse. He was taught  the alphabet. Fredrick Douglass was a slave who got his freedom. He was pretty interesting and a one of a kind man. He taught himself to read and write. He was born into slavery. As he grew up he started to think of a way out
